Dr. Travis Thompson, O.D., is a Knoxville native. He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science concentrating on biochemistry. He then went on to become a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2013.
As an optometrist, Dr. Thompson enjoys:

Dr. Catherine Abbott grew up in Salem, VA, and attended the University of Virginia where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then moved on to the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where she earned her O.D. in 2013.
To round out her education, she completed a one-year residency program with the Salem VA Medical Center. This gave her an opportunity to work with a variety of complex cases, including various eye diseases, with expertise and compassion. Dr. Abbott is also an active member of multiple optometric associations to stay ahead of the curve on the latest developments in research and technology for vision health.
